Without having the v5 books yet, two concepts that have not
yet been mentioned:
Traveller
An expert on getting around in civilized lands, he can speak
several languages very well (this concept becomes
prohibitively expensive if there is no generic Langauge
Talent Virtue that gives a bonus to all languages), and has
decent social skills. In addition to some kind of Language
Talent Virtue, he'll benefit from something similar to the
Highly Trained Virtue in the v4 rules, to get extra skill
points.
Forrester (/Mountaneer/Plainsman...)
Quite inspired by the D&D "Ranger", this is a character who
knows the wilderness - usually he is intimately familiar
with one particular terrain type. He may also have excellent
horse riding skills, for certain terrain types, and should
traditionally be good with a bow.
Then there's the Diplomat, he's like the Travller, except
with less emphasis on languages (although he should still
have good Latin, in addition to the local vernacular) and
more focus on social skills.
