[ArM5] True Lineages: First Impressions

I haven't read it cover to cover yet, but here are some impressions on what 
I have read, mostly on House Tremere.

Our group recently dropped our decade long saga with the new edition; I'm 
playing a Tremere in the new game. My vague concept at the time, subject to 
the new information forthcoming, was of a military-type mage, a soldier mage 
to contrast to the usual warrior mage concept. The new workup dovetails very 
nicely with this. Legus will likely wind up a Master of Auxilliaries in the 
Rhine, once he's allowed out without a padded suit (his Arts are pretty 
pathetic).

My initial companion is Vassily, a shapeshifter from Legus' home covenant, a 
talented pup with five initial shapes, all predatory. The workup on 
shapeshifters serving H. Tremere provides a perfect jumping-off pad for 
Vassily.

So, on first blush, and having only lightly read the Tremere section, I'm 
pleased.
