I haven't thought about sending it to Atlas. I may convert it into Hermes
Portal articles, but that would require a lot of work, and I write my games
tailored specifically to my players and their characters.
As for the implications of finding Arius' remains... that's not in the
gambit of the game. They are due to be uncovered in around 1250+ in
Lithuania by the Teutons. This is well past the time I see the game
covering, since there are no longevity potions. My saga won't go much past
1230 or so. The Arius thing in Byzantium is really just an excuse to have
Teutons dealing with House Tytalus and hunting down heretical manuscripts
and mausoleums, etc.
IMO, there is no systematic connections between the Order of Hermes and the
Templars or Teutons-- it is entirely on a personal, individual basis,
although some senior members in the military orders are aware of the Order
and have dealings with individual covenants. No one IMS is aware of the true
extent of the Order (ie, 1200 members!).
I've populated the Theban Tribunal with a mixture of Jere Genest's Eastern
Breath saga from the late 1990s and some mages needed for my stories, as
well as NPCs from my last saga. Most of the mundane NPCs are historical
figures-- Boniface of Monferrat, Innocent III, Enrico Dandalo, Hermann Von
Salza, etc.
I'm still writing up a background on most of them, but I have details on the
background of all three main plotlines.
