Do you read the berklist?  This was already hashed out over there.

Parma does NOT dispell magic, it only diverts it.

P85 again "Magic resistance keeps magic away from the maga, her
clothing, and other items that are very close to her.  It does not
dispel magic."

And down in the examples.  "A magical rock thrown at the maga bounces
off her resistance, and the maga ..."  This is the 'as above' noted in
teh quote above.

By your logic, I muto a bunch of boulders into pebbles with no
penetration and give them to my grogs.  They then toss said pebbles at
any mage with parma up.  Parma supresses the muto effect, turning the
rocks back into boulders and burying the poor mage.  Or even worse, I
muto tree's into arrows and hand them to my archers.  If the arrow
gets through parma, you die with an arrow in your chest.  If the arrow
doesn't, you get hit with a tree.  Either way, you hurt.
