Politically active and rigidly hierarchical, aiming for Hermetic and mundane control of the Tribunal. Close links to Royal Family of England. Generally suspected (falsely) of diabolic links. (30 D6/7) "Black Thorn"
Cad Gadu

A very conservative covenant, interested in upholding the old Hermetic traditions. The Jerbiton has Quaesitor status. (67 F7) North York Moors, "The Golden Rose"
Domus Doctrinae
Summer, 9 members. 1 Bjornaer 86, 1 Bonisagus 98 (Montanus), 1 Criamon 103, 2 Ex Miscellanea 79 117, 1 Jerbiton 124, 1 Mercere (unGifted) 49, 1 Merinita 116, 1 Verditius 109. The covenant is devoted to extending magical knowledge, but is very tight with what it discovers, bartering it for more power and knowledge. The Bonisagus is a diabolist, having gone a bit too far. The covenant is built in the caves near Castleton, and gets income from Blue John mining. (52 D5) Peak District, "House of Learning"
Insula Sancta

The constitution is hierarchical and age-based. Old magi can join the covenant and get instant privileges, thus the Praeco of the Tribunal is almost always at this covenant. The covenant is actually inside Silbury Hill. (20 E6)

Magus ages
76 magi, and we can assume around about 150 years of life after apprenticeship, thus there would have to be about 1 apprentice every other year to maintain numbers. However, there is a bias towards older magi because youngsters tend to get out of the area. Scarce resources will discourage the training of apprentices to a point. The draining has been going on for about 120 years, so there will be change in numbers about 80 years ago. 46 over the older 70 years, 30 over the younger 80. You're safe until about 150 years old, so there will only be thirty years of the 70 with actual decline in. Say half the number weighted in the last thirty. This is 0.836 magi per year. 0.375 in the younger part, but that will set in as we get further down.
Vis Supplies
Total supplies across the island of about 250 pawns per year. 50 pawns of this are on the islands apart from Man, which has a wanging great supply of its own. 16 on Holy Island and Anglesey, 20 on Wight, 8 on the Scillies, 6 on Ramsey Island off Wales. Of the other 200, 180 are known and claimed, or were before the old covenant fell. Lakes, Peaks, Dales, Moors, N. Wales, S. Wales, West Country. Seven areas, so about 25 pawns per year per area.
