Rosa Aurea is an Autumn covenant: old, respected, and powerful. You are also conservative: the old Hermetic traditions were good enough for centuries, so they are still good enough now. This means that you are in favour of properly conducted Tribunals, and proper courtesy and respect for other magi. Your covenant is built on the northern edge of the North York Moors. You have nine votes.
The main problem in the Tribunal is the covenant of Spina Nigra, another Autumn covenant, in the south of Wales. This covenant is strong, and has been trying to gain undue influence over the mundane and Hermetic politics of the Tribunal. In the past the covenant of Fulmen Candidum took on the role of opposition, but now Fulmen Candidum has fallen, and the task of watching Spina falls to you. Recent attempts at take-over were mediated through great influence on the king: Magna Carta was partly engineered by Fulmen in order to reduce the authority of King John, whom you suspect was controlled by Spina.
You are opposed to big changes, wanting to see the status quo preserved as far as possible. Of course, this means tolerating Spina Nigra to a certain extent: you certainly don't want to see the covenant destroyed. However, its actions are the biggest threat to the status quo that you are currently aware of.
Apart, that is, from the steady decline in magic. Magical auras are weakening and vis sources are drying up throughout the Tribunal. No-one knows why, nor has any idea as to how to stop it.
Your covenant has had a lot of contact with Antrum Draconis, a very new covenant founded in the Yorkshire Dales. The charter was witnessed by Trutina, a member of Rosa Aurea and a Quaesitor. They have set up close to the location of Fulmen Candidum, and so have stepped into a vacuum in the structure of the Tribunal. Thus, you are not worried about them: they do not represent a threat to good order.
